1. City Palace of Udaipur
While visiting any city in Rajasthan, it is customary to visit the palaces where the royal family of a particular state used to stay or is staying. Located on the coast of the beautiful Lake Pichola, the City Palace is an absolute marvel. It was built by the then Maharaja of Udaipur – Maharana Udai Singh 2nd in the year 1553. The palace has great views of Lake Pichola, Taj Lake Palace, and Udaipur city and still houses the royal family of Udaipur. The courtyards have the most impressive displays of ancient paintings and sculptures.
The temple of Lord Shrinath ji is famous all over the world and is visited by millions of devotees and tourists throughout the year. The unique and pleasuring statue of Lord Shrinath which is another name for Lord Krishna is situated here. 3. Lake Pichola
Well Udaipur is famous for it’s lake and among all , the Lake Pichola is the tourist’s premier choice. The Lake was initially created to satisfy the irrigation needs of the Picholi village in Udaipur. There are mainly several small islands located on the lake among which The Jag Niwas is the biggest where the majestic Lake Palace is situated and alongside the Jag mandir. However the main attraction at the lake is the boat ride. This lake is the glory of the city of Udaipur which is often referred to as the Venice of India. A blissful boat ride at the sunset on the glistening lake pichola is a must.

4. Bagore ki Haweli
Bagore ki Haveli was constructed by Amarchand Barwa, the Prime minister of Mewar region. One can see exceptional colourful glass work of the 18th century. Many traditional Rajasthan folk dance and music shows take place in the backdrop of a magnificent historical haveli which is very alluring to the tourists.
5. Saheliyon Ki Bari
Saheliyon Ki Bari is a lovely garden which was built by Rana Sangram Singh, the ruler of Mewar for his queen. This was a pastime where the queen could spend some time with her core attendants/friends far away from the palace. The garden is located on the northern part of Udaipur city, on the banks of Fatehsagar Lake which is visited by tourists for it’s romantic ambience.
